Banyule City Council, Olympic Park carpark

November 2021

Eifers were engaged by Banyule City Council to undergo and complete the construction of a new 84 space carpark as part of the Olympic Park stage 3 redevelopment plan. The stage 3 plan included the construction of a new 64 space car park east of the entrance to Olympic Park and refurbishment of the existing 20 space carpark to Heidelberg United soccer club. The scope of works for both carparks involved bulk excavation works (cut/fill), new stormwater drainage line, kerb and channel, concrete footpath, construction of rock base pavement, asphalting including re-sheet to existing carpark, public lighting, landscaping and water sensitive urban design (WSUD). Assigned with this highly important contract for the Council and local community, Eifers were able to successfully execute and deliver the project on time and within budget.
