Marine & Civil, Howard Street Bendigo Bridge Widening

Marine & Civil subcontracted Eifers Civil in the widening of the Howard Street, Bendigo bridge. This project comprises of strengthening the 5 span u-slabs, parts of the deck and crossheads with carbon fibre reinforcing polymer (CFRP) as well as the widening of the pedestrian path with bolt on steel extensions and a cast insitu deck.

Upon completion the widened bridge crossing the Bendigo Creek will provide the important link between Epsom and Eaglehawk servicing in excess of 10,000 vehicles per day that the City of Greater Bendigo beckoned for.
