Melbourne Airport’s taxiway & runway

June 2021 – September 2021

Eifers™ completed concrete pavement replacement works for our client Antoun on Melbourne Airport’s Taxiway Kilo and Runway 16/34 during a nightly closure. The works involve saw cutting, demolition, reinstalling steel dowels and placement of Rapid Set™ concrete via innovative Bay-Lynx Manufacturing Inc. & Cemen Tech Inc volumetric mixers. These works were completed allowing the pavement to be trafficable for the morning’s first aircraft movement providing minimal impact on the Melbourne Airports daily operations. Great work from our team and subcontractors @proutsconcretecutting @CrownCompleteSweeping @Lincolnsearthmoving
