MAPMP Rapid Set Melbourne Airport

Antoun, in partnership with Eifers, has completed over 22 aircraft runway slabs at Melbourne Airport as part of ongoing infrastructure rectification works. Being a time-critical project, Eifers employed a high-strength, rapid set concrete mix to ensure the slab had adequate load-rating within only a few hours, causing no disruption to aircraft movements at the bustling Melbourne Airport. Within the brief shutdown window, Eifers goes in to demolish the existing slab, drill dowels, prepare expansion joints, pour and finish the concrete surface, leaving enough time for the concrete to reach adequate strength.
