PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Following significant damage caused by the January flooding event, road surfaces within the Puckapunyal Military Area required urgent repair to restore operational capability. The project focused on repairing key sections, including Loch Lee Access Road, to ensure safety and functionality for defence personnel and vehicles operating within the training area.

Scope of Works

  • Assess and remove flood-damaged road surfaces.

  • Reconstruct base layers where sub-grade failure occurred.

  • Supply and install new pavement and surfacing materials to meet military-grade requirements.

  • Complete all works within a 90-day deadline to align with operational recovery schedules.
