Antoun, in partnership with Eifers™ recently completed two runway slab replacements at Avalon Airport - 70 years after its original pour!

Antoun, in partnership with Eifers, has completed over 22 aircraft runway slabs at Melbourne Airport as part of ongoing infrastructure rectification works.

Eifers removed and replaced concrete slabs on behalf of Antoun within the sierra taxiway all within 4 hours. The work required saw cutting, slurry removal, lifting and disposal of the existing concrete pavement slabs, and pouring of High-strength Rapid Set Concrete with our Volumetric trucks.

Eifers was contracted to fix and prolong the life of 141 concrete runway slabs (7.6m x 7.6m) damaged by spalling, cracking and shaling that had begun to cause foreign object damage (FOD) to aircraft and other runway vehicles.

On behalf of Exxon Mobil, Eifers completed the construction of storage cells for the safe removal and disposal of PFAS contaminated soil.

Due to taxiway flooding issues, Eifers was contracted to establish a new runway for Lilydale Airport by Waterpave (a local supplier of pervious concrete) to supply and pour 2250m2 concrete within a two-week time frame.

Eifers was contracted by Melbourne Airport to aid in relocating the Forward Command Post (FCP) to the northern end of the airfield.

Due to constant traffic and weather damage, we were contracted to repair the WSO carpark at Melbourne Airport, amending the crushed rock pavement and increasing the number of parking spaces twofold.
